1-on-1 Coaching: arts-based, trauma-informed, reflective, meaning-focused
Individual coaching is for you if…
You need flexibility and find that group programs often clash with your schedule.
You want to steer the pace of your coaching and how frequently we meet.
You want to work on a personal or intimate topic which feels more comfortable in a 1-on-1 setting.
You need to get clear on your questions, goals or dilemmas before you begin.
You enjoy a setting where you can focus purely on yourself.
During individual coaching, we’ll collaboratively determine the blend of approaches that supports your coaching goals and aligns well with your needs and preferences.
Your coaching sessions will take place online, using Zoom. This gives us the flexibility to fit around your work, life and location. You can engage in your coaching in a space where you feel at ease.
My 1:1 Coaching Formats
-
A Stitch in Time
A short burst of coaching to attend to a distinct challenge, question or decision you feel stuck with.
Over 2 x 90min sessions, you can make sense of a distinct situation by slowing down the process. Get curious about your typical response patterns and open up space to consider alternatives.
This coaching format is for you if you need a bit of space to reflect on options and possibilities before taking action.
-
Mending
Deep and focused coaching over 2-3 months to support you in mending and tending to a tear in your life.
Over 6 x 90min sessions, you can make sense of prolonged wear and tear of living, or of an event or experience that has derailed you.
This coaching format is for you if you need to find solid ground before you can move forward.
-
Weaving
Explorative coaching over 4-6 months in which you can weave together different strands of your story, who you are and who you want to become.
Over 6 sessions, a mix of 60 and 90min, you can make sense of different parts of you, sticky patterns, or how your sense of identity changes as you evolve.
This coaching format is for you if you want to build a solid, trusting relationship between you and you.
-
Stitching
Longer-term coaching over a period of time, typically a year, where you can follow the thread of your life. This coaching format is a steadfast companion and supports you flexibly in what life throws at you.
Over 12 sessions, typically scheduled monthly, you can make sense of life as it unfolds and your inner world as you evolve.
This coaching format is for you if you seek regular time to think and see coaching as a steadfast companion to meet life.

Your Coaching Process
Focus. Work pressure, caring responsibilities, and deeply engrained shoulds and musts can keep you from connecting more deeply with yourself. Coaching creates a dedicated reflective space to focus on yourself: get curious about why you do what you do and whether it still serves you.
Wish. We’ll discuss the intentions you’re bringing to your coaching and capture specific goals.
Experiment. Creative and reflective processes evoke curiosity. Paying attention to the mind-body connection is another source of knowing. Experimenting with new ideas and possibilities in this way can be thought-provoking if you typically operate in a more logic-oriented and outcome-driven setting.
Trust. You’ll experience a supportive and non-judgmental coaching relationship, especially as we steer through the messy middle of change and transition. I’ll also share tailored techniques and research-led approaches and am your sounding board in our sessions and via email coaching.
Integrate. Summarising and synthesising what you have learned will create a bridge between the reality of your life and the refreshed vision. You’ll have clarity and impetus to turn your insights into a meaningful reality.
Practice. Over the course of your coaching, you’ll have the opportunity to develop a personal reflective practice that is sustainable, supportive and expands your self-knowledge.

"The Map of Meaning was a strong complement to the creative processes and homework invitations. It was also a very effective method for the particular issue I brought to the process in that it gave structure to what might otherwise have been an unfocused and 'muddy' trawl through issues. I think the map process would have been useful in any circumstance, but your facilitation, the quality of your listening and reflecting amplified the benefit for me."
